About Us
We started Nourish Nashville with one goal in mind, support postpartum moms living at or below the poverty line, in a real and effective way. We believe proper postpartum nutrition not only heals the body but the mind and soul as well. Our hope and goal is for newly postpartum moms to feel seen, cared for and to build community through food for a better future. We do that through our six week meal delivery program. Where the moms receive nutrient dense breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack. These meals are delivered straight to their door, once a week for six weeks.

Our Story
A note from our founder -
When I became a mom, I was living in rural Texas—far from family, far from community, and far from the kind of support I didn’t even know I would need. My husband was commuting 30 miles each way for work, and I was at home, navigating early postpartum completely alone. I didn’t know how to feed my body. I didn’t know what to ask for. And I didn’t know how deeply I would feel the weight of that isolation.
Years later, after relocating to Tennessee, I found myself working as a private chef—eventually joining a postpartum meal delivery company where I prepared nutrient-dense meals for new mothers. It was there that I realized how powerful food could be. These weren’t just meals. They were moments of relief. They were gestures of care. They were lifelines. And I knew then: this was more than a job. It was a calling.
Then, in a season of uncertainty—after being laid off from a catering company—I began to pray. I asked God how He wanted me to use my gifts. Not long after, I delivered a meal to a mom from our church through a meal train. On the way home, it hit me like a whisper from heaven: This is it. This is what I’m supposed to do.
That moment planted the seed for Nourish Nashville—a nonprofit dedicated to serving postpartum moms in need with six weeks of nourishing, healing meals. We serve women living at or below the poverty line because I believe every mom deserves the dignity of rest, recovery, and nourishment—regardless of her circumstances.
I still remember how hard those early days were. And now, I get to turn that pain into purpose. Through Nourish Nashville, we're not just delivering food—we're delivering hope.
